Anyone can use Voyager now. The public beta is open, and it is free to try.
It is a file manager for macOS. After you download it, you open a folder you already have. From there, these are the things you can use today.
The file manager
This is the app. You browse folders and files. You move them. You keep working in the folder that is already on your Mac.
AI Chat
You can ask about the folder in front of you, or about the files you selected. Add more files to the chat when the question needs them. AI Chat stays with the file manager. It does not send you somewhere else to start.
Tabs
You can keep a folder and a conversation open at the same time. Each lives in a tab. You stay in the tab you are working in, switch when you need to, and come back later.
Collections
You can save a search and reopen it. Use that when the same search will come back. It is one of four things you can use now, not the thing the app is.
