Know what is available offline

• Files stored only in iCloud Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox now show their download state in Voyager, so you can tell at a glance what is available offline.
• Start a download from Voyager and follow its progress. You can retry a failed download or cancel one that is no longer needed.
• Opening or previewing a cloud file prepares its content first, instead of failing when the file has not been downloaded yet.

A more predictable grid

• Clicking an item in the grid now selects just that item. The previous selection no longer builds up as you click.
• Quick Look keeps the selection of the window you are working in, so switching windows no longer syncs the wrong file.

Make every folder feel familiar

• Voyager now remembers each folder’s List or Icon view, sort field, sort direction, and grouping, then restores them when you return or open the folder in another tab.
• Set your default folder view in Settings, review folders with custom views, return one folder to Use Defaults, or reset all folder views at once.
• Toolbar, context, and View menus now show whether a choice comes from Default settings or This Folder, and open windows update after settings are changed or reset.

See Recents without repeated reshuffling

• Recents now waits for the current result set to finish loading and shows it in one update instead of repeatedly expanding and reshuffling as more items arrive.

Move and copy from the sidebar with confidence

• Drop files or folders onto a folder tab in the sidebar to move them there, or hold Option while dropping to copy them.
• Successfully moved items disappear from the original list right away while Voyager refreshes the affected folders; copied or failed items remain in place.
• Open folder tabs—including inactive, pinned, and matching tabs in other windows—follow a moved folder to its new location, and Undo or Redo updates them in the same direction.

Navigate and organize more reliably

• Back and Forward buttons respond across their full visible area, a long press opens navigation history, and using the toolbar no longer takes keyboard focus away from the file list.
• Sort, Group, and List or Icon menus open independently, show the current choice, and keep active and inactive tabs in sync when folder settings change.
• Favorites, locations, and recent AI Chat rows on Home now respond across the full tile or row, including its padding.
• Sorting and grouping refresh the metadata they need, while keyboard and range selection follow the order you actually see—even when an item appears in more than one tag group.

• Fixed an issue that could cause column headers to disappear in list view.

Start with an empty collection

• Open a new, empty collection file and build it up at your own pace. You can add a search, scope, or conditions before anything runs.

Keep your selection as you work

• Your selected item now stays selected more reliably when you switch between list and grid views, preview files with Quick Look, refresh a view, or rename a file.
• Collection searches now better preserve what you are editing when a filter cannot be applied or a previous request finishes late.

Move through your history more naturally

• Use a horizontal trackpad swipe in the tab you are working in to move back and forward through folder history.

Stay oriented in long file lists

• Typing now moves through matching visible items more predictably, while keeping the selected item in view.
• Refreshing grouped file lists preserves your place and keeps the current group clear as you work.

More reliable everyday file management

• Renaming, moving, and externally updated files now keep selections and file lists in sync more reliably.
• Search keeps what you typed when a suggested filter cannot be applied.

Reuse the tab you already have open

• Opening a folder or file from Finder now reuses a matching tab when one is already open, helping you avoid duplicate tabs and stay in the same place.
• When you open a file, Voyager brings its tab forward and selects it when its folder is already open.

Return to the right place

• Going back or up a folder restores the folder you just left in the list, including its selection and scroll position.
• Pinned tabs keep their navigation history, making it easier to return to the location where you left off.

Set up new windows your way

• Choose Home or a folder you use often as the starting page for new windows and tabs.
• Choose a recent tab more reliably with keyboard shortcuts and menus.

Bring files into Voyager with confidence

• Drag files, folders, and supported items from Finder and other macOS apps into Voyager with more reliable handling.

Find and preview items faster

• Start typing in a file list or grid to jump to the first visible item that matches.
• Quick Look now follows your current selection more consistently as focus moves between windows.

Move around with the keyboard

• Use the keyboard to move through the recent-tabs switcher before choosing a tab.
• App bundles and other package folders now behave more consistently when opening, searching, and dropping items.

Return to pinned locations

• Re-select an active pinned tab, or use Return to Pinned Location, to go back to the location where you pinned it.
• Show Recent Tabs in the Go menu gives you a quick view of recently used tabs in the current File Manager window.

A clearer AI Chat input

• The AI Chat input now reflects whether attachments are supported in the workspace tab you are using.
• Attachment controls appear only where attachments can be added, removing controls that could not complete an action.

Clearer collection controls

• Collection conditions now use a native menu and dropdown experience that is easier to scan and choose from.
• Previously saved collections remain compatible with the updated collection controls.
