Terms of Service

Last updated:

1. Introduction and Acceptance

These Terms of Service govern your use of the websites, Voyager macOS application, accounts, downloads, support, and related features and services provided by Voyager for Momentum Inc. (“Voyager,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collectively the “Service.”

You accept these Terms through the terms review and acceptance process provided in the Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the app or other parts of the Service that require your acceptance.

If you purchase an Early Supporter Pass, the purchase conditions in Section 17 also apply. If Section 17 conflicts with another provision of these Terms regarding that purchase, Section 17 controls to that extent. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that applicable law does not allow you to waive or limit.

2. The Voyager Service

Voyager is a macOS file workspace for browsing and organizing local files and related work context. It lets you connect supported external services and work with AI agents using the files and context you choose for a task.

Available features depend on your app version, supported environment, plan, and the availability of each feature. Features identified as “coming soon,” “available for preorder,” or similar are distinct from features currently available for use.

Downloading the app, creating an account, confirming payment, and activating paid features are separate steps. In particular, successful payment for an Early Supporter Pass does not mean that Plus features have been activated.

General development plans and roadmaps are not separate delivery commitments. However, features and delivery conditions expressly promised when you purchase a product form part of your purchase agreement.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of accepting these Terms. If consent from a parent or legal guardian is required, you must obtain that consent. Purchases made by minors without legally required consent remain subject to any cancellation rights provided by applicable law.

If you use the Service or enter into an agreement on behalf of an organization, you must have authority to bind that organization.

For features requiring an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your account email up to date so that you can receive purchase and service notices. You must take reasonable care to protect your sign-in provider account and credentials and notify us if you suspect unauthorized use.

We may require reasonable verification of your identity and purchase before handling sensitive requests, including account recovery, purchase entitlement verification, email changes, and deletion.

4. Free Access and Paid Products

Free’s core local file-browsing features can be used without signing in to a Voyager account, applying for a trial, making a purchase, or verifying a paid device seat. Connecting an external service or AI agent may require an account, subscription, or credentials required by that provider.

The Early Supporter Pass is a separate product for purchasing future Plus access. Its scope and activation conditions are governed by Sections 17.2 and 17.3.

Before offering Plus or Pro subscriptions, Team Pro, or additional storage products for purchase, we will disclose their prices, billing periods, automatic renewal arrangements, cancellation methods, feature scope, and applicable terms. Using Free or purchasing an Early Supporter Pass does not, by itself, start a separate paid subscription.

5. Software License and User Content

While you comply with these Terms and any applicable purchase terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for lawful personal or business purposes. Unless separately permitted, you may not transfer or resell your access to the Service. Suspension or termination of your license is governed by Section 10 and the applicable purchase terms.

Rights in the software, designs, documentation, trademarks, and other content and assets we provide belong to Voyager or their respective rights holders.

Rights in the files, folders, documents, databases, storage objects, metadata, properties, relationships, collections, work results, and other content you access or manage through the Service (“User Content”) remain with you or their respective rights holders. You must have the rights or authorization needed to access, process, transmit, and modify that content.

Where User Content is provided to us or you use a feature requiring us to process it, you authorize us to process that content only as necessary to provide the requested Service, maintain security, and provide support. This provision is not a blanket permission to use private User Content for advertising, sale, or training general-purpose AI models.

We cannot grant you rights in generated results that we do not hold. We do not make a blanket guarantee that generated results qualify for copyright protection, are exclusive to you, or do not infringe third-party rights.

6. External Services, AI Agents, and Automation

Voyager may provide connections to supported external services, AI providers, and agent harnesses. You are generally responsible for managing the external accounts, subscriptions, and API keys you connect, and for complying with those providers’ terms and paying their fees. External service costs are not included in a Voyager product’s price unless expressly stated otherwise.

Depending on the feature, User Content may be sent directly from your device to an external service or pass through Voyager’s intermediary or processing functions. Personal data processing and external transfers are described in the Privacy Policy and the applicable feature notices.

Agents and automations may read or modify files or content in connected services according to the permissions, instructions, and settings you provide. You must review their scope and permissions and manage any recurring or automated execution you authorize. Stopping an execution or disconnecting a service does not reverse actions already completed, and some actions may not be recoverable.

AI responses and execution results may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be reviewed before use. External provider outages or policy changes may affect functionality. These provisions do not transfer all responsibility for Voyager’s own mishandling or breach of contract to you.

7. Payments, Taxes, and Refunds

For purchases made through Polar, Polar acts as the authorized reseller and merchant of record, handling payments, taxes, receipts, and related transaction processing. Voyager is responsible for providing the product and access rights under these Terms and the applicable purchase terms. Your transaction with Polar is also subject to the Polar buyer terms presented at checkout.

The price, payment currency, tax treatment, and final amount payable are disclosed before purchase. Cancellation and refund conditions for the Early Supporter Pass are set out in Section 17.5.

You may contact us about duplicate or unauthorized charges, failure to provide purchased features, or delivery that does not match the purchase description. We will investigate and arrange appropriate remedies based on the transaction and applicable law.

Refund and withdrawal requests may be submitted through the contact in Section 16 or an available billing support channel. Inability to sign in to your Voyager account does not prevent you from submitting a request. We may request the minimum information reasonably necessary to verify the order.

We will perform any refund and payment-cancellation obligations imposed on us within the legally required periods. The time at which a refund appears on a card statement or other payment account may vary, but this does not limit our statutory obligations. These Terms do not restrict statutory withdrawal or refund rights, or legitimate payment-dispute rights available through your payment method.

8. Acceptable Use and Restrictions

You must use the Service lawfully. You must not access another person’s accounts, systems, or content without authorization or infringe their privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.

You must not interfere with the security or operation of the Service, circumvent purchase or access controls, or use the Service for fraud or other unlawful purposes. Except where applicable law permits otherwise, you must not copy, redistribute, resell, or reverse engineer the software without authorization.

Using the Service for ordinary business activities or commercially using results you lawfully create is distinct from reselling access to the Service itself.

9. Support

We provide support through the channels identified on the website, in the app, or in Section 16. We do not guarantee a particular response or resolution time unless expressly agreed otherwise.

Issues involving an external provider’s billing, outages, or unsupported environments may require assistance from that provider or changes to your environment. These support limitations do not restrict remedies we are required to provide under your purchase agreement or applicable law.

10. Ending Use, Account Deletion, and Suspension

You may stop using the Service at any time. Stopping use, deleting an account, disconnecting an external service, cancelling a purchase, and requesting a refund are separate actions. You may request account deletion through available account controls or our support channels.

Before processing account deletion, we will explain its material effects on your access and account data. Personal data deletion and retention are governed by the Privacy Policy, and verification or recovery of ESP rights is governed by Section 17.6. Requesting account deletion does not, by itself, waive statutory claims or refund rights that have already arisen.

We may restrict access where necessary because of a material breach of these Terms, fraud, invalid payment, unauthorized access, an urgent security risk, or a legal requirement. Except where immediate action is necessary, we will, where practicable, explain the reason and provide an opportunity to remedy the issue or challenge the decision.

11. Privacy

The Privacy Policy, available at /privacy on the Voyager website, explains how personal data is collected, used, transferred, retained, and deleted, and how you may exercise your rights.

Accepting these Terms or acknowledging the Privacy Policy does not replace any separate consent legally required for personal data processing or optional marketing. The authorization concerning User Content in Section 5 does not override statutory data protection obligations.

12. Disclaimers and Responsibility for Backups

Except as expressly stated in the applicable purchase terms, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voyager disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every system or external service, the accuracy of AI outputs, or that User Content will remain free from loss, corruption, or unintended changes.

You are responsible for maintaining independent backups of important files and content and for reviewing the permissions, instructions, and scope of actions you authorize, including actions performed through AI agents and automations. File organization, mounting, and synchronization features are not a substitute for independent backups. Unless expressly included in the product you purchase, Voyager does not provide a backup, archival, or data-recovery service or guarantee the recovery of lost or modified content.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voyager will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, including such damages arising from the loss, corruption, or deletion of User Content, or for lost profits, lost revenue, loss of business opportunities, loss of goodwill, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Voyager’s total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the total fees you actually paid for the specific Voyager product or service giving rise to the claim, including payments made through our merchant of record. This is an aggregate limit, not a separate limit for each claim or incident.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or gross negligence by Voyager or persons for whose conduct we are legally responsible, or any liability or statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

14. Changes to These Terms and the Service

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or security, legal, or operational requirements. For material changes, we will provide advance notice of the effective date and key changes through appropriate channels, such as the website, app, or account email, and obtain separate consent where required by law.

Where an urgent security or legal reason prevents advance notice, we will provide prompt notice afterward to the extent permitted by law.

We will not use a general amendment to these Terms to retroactively reduce the core rights or refund conditions of an existing purchase. Before changes take effect, we will explain the options for ending use and the treatment of existing purchases if you do not agree.

15. Governing Law, Disputes, and Language

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, this does not affect protections granted by the mandatory consumer laws of your country of residence.

The courts of the Republic of Korea have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms. Any right you have under applicable law to bring a claim before another court, including a court where you live, is preserved.

The official contract language of these Terms is English. Translations prepared for review or reference do not replace the English terms. This provision does not limit any language-specific disclosure, explanation, or consumer-protection requirements under applicable law.

17. Early Supporter Pass

17.1 Scope and Purchase Conditions

This Section 17 applies to purchases of the Early Supporter Pass (“ESP”) and forms part of these Terms.

The ESP is a one-time preorder priced at USD 200 and offered to the first 100 purchasers. Applicable taxes and the final amount payable are disclosed before purchase.

An ESP purchase requires a Voyager account with an associated email address and is limited to one purchase per account. If a duplicate payment or a payment exceeding the sales limit is confirmed, we will verify the order and cancel and refund the duplicate or excess purchase.

17.2 What You Purchase

The ESP is a preorder for the right to use Plus without additional Plus subscription fees once the activation conditions below are met.

Immediately after payment, your purchasing account receives a preorder entitlement. Plus access is not activated immediately. Downloading or installing the free app, or using Free features, does not constitute delivery or activation of the Plus features purchased through the ESP.

The minimum initial Plus functionality promised with the ESP is:

Mount and browse Notion databases and pages in Voyager and connect them to your work context; and mount and browse Amazon S3 (AWS S3) and Cloudflare R2 storage that you are authorized to access. This scope does not include external service accounts, storage capacity, or provider fees, or a promise to support every type of modification to source content. Individual actions are limited to the features provided and the permissions you grant.

General roadmap changes after purchase will not, by themselves, reduce this minimum promised scope.

17.3 Delivery and Activation

We expect to make the initial Plus functionality described in Section 17.2 available in December 2026.

This is the expected delivery schedule. If a material delay is anticipated, we will, where reasonably possible, email the purchasing account before that expected delivery period with the change and an updated schedule. A delay notice does not limit your refund rights or statutory remedies for non-delivery.

Plus access is activated when the minimum functionality in Section 17.2 has actually been made available to your purchasing account in a supported environment and we notify you of activation. A general launch announcement or a change in feature naming does not, by itself, constitute activation.

We will notify purchasers of material delays or changes to the delivery schedule. Under Section 17.5, you may request a full refund before activation or within one month after activation.

17.4 Scope of Lifetime Access

An activated ESP does not require a separate monthly or annual subscription fee for Plus access.

The ESP does not include Pro, Team Pro, Storage Add-ons, managed cloud storage provided by Voyager, or separately metered products. It also does not include fees charged by external AI services or storage providers you connect.

Connecting or mounting storage you obtain from another provider is different from purchasing storage capacity supplied by Voyager. If external storage mounting is included in the functionality promised in Section 17.2, the exclusion of managed cloud storage above does not, by itself, remove that functionality.

We will not eliminate ESP rights or impose a new Plus subscription fee for the same promised functionality merely by renaming Plus or reorganizing our plans. The ESP does not include every future product or feature.

17.5 Preorder Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your preorder at any time before activation under Section 17.3 and receive a full refund of the purchase price and taxes actually paid for that purchase. No separate cancellation fee applies.

A valid refund request submitted within the refund period in this section remains effective even if that period expires while we are processing the request.

If, before activation, we cancel delivery or determine that we cannot provide the promised minimum functionality, we will arrange cancellation and a full refund of the affected unactivated preorder.

You may request a full refund of the purchase price and taxes actually paid for the ESP within one month after activation under Section 17.3. After this period, we do not offer voluntary refunds for a change of mind, reduced use, or a decision to stop using the Service.

This restriction does not apply to correction of duplicate or unauthorized charges, non-conforming delivery, or withdrawal, refunds, or other remedies required by applicable law.

Activation or acceptance of these Terms does not, by itself, extinguish a statutory right of withdrawal. Where a withdrawal restriction is legally available for a particular transaction, we must still meet any applicable requirements for advance notice, express consent, confirmation, or trial access.

You may request a refund at support@voyager.fm or through an identified billing support channel. Provide the information reasonably necessary to verify your purchase, such as the order email and order number. You do not need to be able to access your Voyager account to submit a request. Section 7 of these Terms governs refund processing.

17.6 Purchasing Account, Changes, and Recovery

ESP rights are attached to the purchasing account. You may not sell or transfer the ESP to another person unless we separately permit it. Updating the same purchaser’s email or recovering their account is distinct from transferring rights to another person.

If you lose access to a sign-in provider account or need to change the account association for your purchase, you may contact us for assistance. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and purchase.

Even if an account has been deleted or the original sign-in method is unavailable, the same purchaser may request restoration of valid ESP rights by providing proof of purchase.

Contact support@voyager.fm with the email address used for purchase and an invoice or receipt identifying the order number and purchase. After reasonably verifying the purchaser and order, we can link the remaining rights to a replacement account belonging to the same purchaser. If you cannot access the original email account, we will explain alternative verification steps. Do not provide full payment card numbers or unnecessary personal information. Refunded or otherwise validly terminated rights, and purchases belonging to another person, are not eligible for restoration.

Purchasing a separate paid product, such as Pro, does not by itself extinguish your existing ESP rights. When that separate product ends, the Plus access provided by an otherwise valid ESP continues to apply.

17.7 End of Rights

If an ESP purchase is fully refunded or its payment is finally invalidated, the preorder or activated access rights arising from that purchase end. Raising a legitimate payment dispute does not, by itself, constitute a final loss of ESP rights.

Section 10 of these Terms applies to restrictions arising from a material breach or security concerns. We will not rely on general service-change or license-revocation language to arbitrarily cancel an otherwise valid ESP.
